The Royal Marine has everything, good accomodation, food and very friendly staff. The Hotel is also well placed for touring the Highlands as well as an ideal base for business
The whole experience from staying at this hotel was excellent, from the warm greeting on arrival to the first class meal we enjoyed in the Bistro. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a relaxing weekend with excellent food.
The Marine Hotel has the best breakfast I have ever known anywhere in the world and I am a seasoned traveller. It is in a wonderful position close to some of the best scenery in Scotland and near to a golf course. A small but luxury hotel.
There was nothing that I did not like.
Quiet location, adjacent to golf course, harbour, and wonderful beach; comfortable room,well-equipped, huge bed, bedroom and public rooms well-heated (very welcome in a chilly May midweek), staff welcoming and helpful. Leisure suite looks nice.Pleasant dining room and lounges., with open fires lit.Choice of eating areas and pleasant garden area, sheltered from the sea.
Food was not up to expectations, over-elaborated to the detriment of indivudual flavours, components not well chosen to compliment each other, disappointing at the price. The Arts and Crafts building could seem a little gloomy on a dark afternoon, but was brought alive with fires and candles in the evening.
We thought the staff were very friendly. The food was interesting and the presentation good. There was plenty of parking amd the hotel is conveniently located just off the A9.
Their assistance with my special gluten free diet. The log fires during a weekend of bad weather and the upgraded room with more space. Also because of a storm that affected our other plans for earlier that day, we had arrived earlier in the afternoon and were readily catered for.
Friendly and welcoming staff, room was comfortable and clean, the hotel food was excellent and of a high standard. Enjoyable stay at the royal marine hotel.
Atmosphere,comfort- got upgrade to Master Room without asking Excellent food and very friendly and engaging staff
fabulous hotel, wonderful log fire
lovely modern room, good food and excellent decor Spa was very good
The food was excellent with a choice of three menus. The staff were friendly & service was excellent. The satndard of accomodation & decor was first class. Leisure club was a bonus & very quiet. Will definitely return
Dining room staff at dinner were poorly trained. I had to ask for the wine list after my first course had been served. Knowledge of wines appeared poor.
really friendly staff, lovely log fire burning
The room was a little small.
The Food was fantastic. The meal in the bistro was of the highest standard for a very reasonable price
It was very welcoming and very comfortable.the food was also very good and the parking facilities excellent.
